The Role:

The Maintenance Mechanic - Millwright is responsible for the repair and maintenance of processing and packaging equipment to ensure ongoing, cost-effective operations, in a continuous operation, multi-shift environment.

What you get to do:

• Repair and maintain packaging equipment and high-speed PLC-controlled equipment
• Repair and maintain processing and material handling equipment
• Carry out requirements of Preventative Maintenance programs
• Perform facility repairs as required

 What you bring to the role: 

• Millwright License (433A) is required 
• Industrial Electrician License (442A) an asset
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or GMP environment 
• 3-5 years’ experience in repair and overhaul, troubleshooting of processing, packaging, and material handling equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with the following equipment is an asset: IMA, Mespic, Hayssen

The current shift pattern is a 5-day x 8 hours MAD Rotation:

• Midnight     11:00PM-7:30AM
• Afternoon   3:00PM-11:30PM
• Day            7:00AM-3:30PM
