Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside a professional crew to bring custom homes and renovation projects from start to finish, contributing to high-quality builds that reflect our company’s standards.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized job site
- Perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, installation, and finishing work
- Install windows, doors, roof trusses, sheathing, and hardware
- Frame walls, floors, and structural components
- Safely operate hand and power tools (saws, drills, etc.)
- Set up and work from ladders and scaffolding as required
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet project timelines
- Read and interpret building plans (asset)
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of carpentry experience
- Experience in custom home building or residential renovations
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
- Knowledge of job site safety standards and procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license required
